Fermented Zucchini!

Mason Jar Size: 32 oz Ingredients:  2 cups zucchini, thinly circular sliced 1 small red onion, thinly sliced 3-4 garlic cloves 1 teaspoon ginger, grated 2 cups filtered water 1 tablespoon sea salt ¼ teaspoon ground turmeric Process: Fill the Mason jar with zucchini, red onion, turmeric, garlic and ginger, adjust properly and leave ½-inch from above and set aside. In a bowl, mix together water and sea salt to make the brine. Pour the brine on the zucchini until covered, leave ½-inch from top. Place your Go Ferment! Kit on top of the jar and ferment for 7-10 days...

Mason Jar Size: 32 oz Ingredients:  6 medium red onions, sliced into thin rings Herbs (optional) Garlic cloves (optional) 3 tablespoons salt 3 cups filtered water Process: If you are using fresh herbs and garlic, place those in the bottom of the jar. Then pack your sliced onions on top and pack to the shoulder of the jar and set aside. In a bowl, mix together salt and water to make the brine. Mason Jar Size: 32 oz Ingredients: 2 cups washed, quartered, and sliced turnips 1¼ cups washed, quartered, and sliced beets 2 tablespoons of salt Distilled water as needed Directions: Wash and slice your beets and turnips into quarters. Add them to your 32 ounce mason jar, alternating layers of beet and turnip so that the red and white are evenly distributed. Leave 1-2 inches of headspace.
